The Connected Car Expo (CCE), an exhibition combined with a conference program, kicks off the annual Los Angeles Auto Show November 17.
The event aims to promote connectivity in the auto industry and bring together players from all industries involved.
The CCE will host a one-day conference at the Marriott Hotel on the first LA Auto Show press day, November 17. The conference program features, among many others, speakers from automakers Volkswagen and Jaguar Land Rover, search engine giant Google, and supplier Continental.
More than 30 companies will exhibit automotive innovations at the Marriott. These include Covisint, Elektrobit, Faurecia, Garmin, QNX and others.
Said Lisa Kaz, president and CEO of the Los Angeles Auto Show: “This collaboration between major auto and technology players, combined with the emergence of thousands of disruptive start-up companies, creates an unprecedented need for an automotive-focused forum connecting this rapidly changing industry.”
