Sony PlayStation VR Headset To Launch On 13 October

The virtual reality market is already pretty crowded, and is set to become even more so in the next few months. This will allow gamers to test out the PlayStation VR before more pre-orders of the virtual reality headset open up soon. The Playstation Neo has been confirmed by Sony as a major hardware upgrade, the direct competitor to Microsoft's Xbox Scorpio.

Nintendo: It isn't a secret anymore that the next Nintendo console would be quite an evolution but the Japanese game developer had "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" to show the world at E3. An executive of the company also told the news outlet that it wanted to be prepared before making a demonstration of the console. This is expected to result in shortages of the PlayStation VR but the company is going to try and ensure that all customers are satisfied.

There's even a new gun-shaped controller, called the PS Aim Controller, which will coincide with the release of Farpoint, a first-person shooter-slash-exploration game created to make the most out of the peripheral. The demo involves walking around a creepy, abandoned house from a first-person perspective, where you find clues and figure out how to exit. These systems start at about $500.

TechTime Reports, during the E3 2016, Sony confirmed that the PlayStation VR will land on October 13.

It's not thought likely that the NX would support standard VR technology-historically, Nintendo has preferred to use low-priced mainstream technology in innovative ways, as with the Wii's intuitive motion controls and the 3DS's no-glasses 3D screen.

The nationwide demo for Sony's virtual reality headset was announced on the PlayStation blog by Vice President of PlayStation Brand Marketing John Koller, who stated that he is very optimistic about the project. Sony still bested other booths, including its biggest competitor, Microsoft and the Xbox One.

They are eyeing to reveal PlayStation 4 Neo when its new hardware is complete along with its new features that game aficionados can experience. The PlayStation 2 was the one and only place to go if you were a JRPG fan. On the other end, Microsoft announced their new console which is going to support DVR and 4K video output easily. This PlayStation exclusive looks wonderful, and if it's anything like Xbox's exclusive from a year ago, Sunset Overdrive (both done by developer Insomniac Games), it will be a fun game to play. This was one of the highest-level puzzles we'd each played in a video game, in terms of offering a mix of inventive, multi-part challenges and satisfying "you're getting warmer" bread crumbs along the way.
