Flexible packaging aluminum foil is a lightweight and soft metal material produced from high-purity aluminum through rolling. It offers excellent barrier properties, including outstanding resistance to gases, water vapor, light, moisture, and oxidation.
Due to its flexibility and formability, aluminum foil is commonly laminated with paper or plastic films to enhance mechanical strength, barrier performance, and functional characteristics. As a result, it is widely used in food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and industrial packaging applications.
The most commonly used alloys for flexible packaging aluminum foil include 8xxx series (8011,8079),1xxx series (1235,1100), and 3xxx series (3003), all of which provide excellent ductility, low pinhole levels, and stable lamination performance.
